Well, I found a datasheet for an AIC-6260 AT bus to SCSI chip from 
Adaptec.   And an MSM6262 LCD controller from Oki...But no M6260. 
Usually, I can find old stuff like that on freetradezone.com, but 
they don't admit to it's existence and neither does icmaster.com.

Yeah, I waited forever for some samples that never came, though they 
stayed in touch and kept me updated on their "progress". 
Fortunately, I was working on parts from a different manufacturer as 
well, and that's what I ended up using--but if Oki is the only 
company that made the needed part...

The next time I'm at Howard Electronics I'll try to remember to check 
their book shelf for the NEC Manual.   They have a lot of old 
documentation and a lot of old chips there.
