I found a cable in the basement which seems to be a mac serial to standard pc serial cable. What types of serial devices can i get to work with this thing-- 56k usr modem? zip drive? crappy serial printer?
Its a modem cable or half a nullmodem cable. ;) wouldn't know about clunky zip drives or serial printers, the macs are routed through the pc or linux box to provide file storage or printing. thats printing to just about any printer I care to use, hard to go past .pdf mostly. ;)
