A silicon circuit that "suddenly" pops its head up & "notices" something.
How is that not worthy of the term "Voodoo"? :O)

I was, of course, using the colorful description as shorthand for the plethora of technically valid changes in condition which could cause that event. :-) No, I'm still not going to try to list them.
