Yes, there were several 16 bit wireless cards made.Orange Micro went on to produce several 486 NuBus cards, at least one with a 16 bit PC Card slot in the back. Hmmm, if there's such a thing as a 16bit wireless network PC Card.
Hmm, a 486, even a 33mhz, would run Win98 fairly well. Especially LitePCed. Would be amusing if it could be made to work, you'd have an emulator with wireless capability when the Mac doesn't.
