I'm just curious, I wouldn't put it in there anyway the Performa 600 is a bit of a dog, and it's in that damn case I so love to hate (the motivation for building my 7100cx in fact!). FWIW I did a 4MB RAM upgrade on mine at the weekend and cut my had twice on the drive carrier assembly.
