Well, one has to be able to boot to zap pram, huh! So I didn't do that. But the thing
might as well work again with the cache card after zapping PRAM so:

1. I rebooted pressing Cmd - Option - P - R and let it restart 3 times (3 times
'boing')
2. The screen was set to black and white and AppleTalk to the printer port when I
booted again.
3. I turned off the IIci, put the cache card back in and put it on again.
4. Screen stayed black; hard disk didn't make any humming sounds. It wasn't booting.

The IIci was as dead as before. Everything worked fine again after I took out the
cache card for the second time.

That card is gone. I'll try and get myself an other IIci to make this one complete
again.
