Thank you for the info.  The 2FX has been connected to
the LJ3 for its lifetime via an AppleTalk interface. 
There is an HP Postscript cartridge installed to grant
us that privilege.  I have no experience with the
Strydent Powerprint or DAVE!  HP lists (I'll send the
address later) all sorts  of ethernet cards for the
LJ3 that are "for" Novell Netware and JetDirect, they
also list dongles for ethernet to parallel connections
for JetDirect.  What I figure is that I would need
drivers in order for the Mac to work on these networks
- if I create a network that will permit the Mac and
PC to share the HP.  The other issue is, what is the
dongle that would dangle from my AppleTalk port to
make it ethernet, or do I need an ethernet card that
will sit in the 2FX NuBus slot to get ethernet?
