I have just found some shareware s/w that I think is useful to those of us that maintain old Macs (especially those that also run a modern Mac).

It's at (and I have no connection with this product):

http://www.kiffe.com/macghostview.html

Included is a program called macps2pdf, a Postscript to PDF converter. What this means is that you can run all your old apps ( in my case I was using MacProject II on a IIci), then print your output to a .ps file instead of the printer. You can then transfer this file to a newer Mac and use macps2pdf to convert it to a pdf file. Now you can send it to everyone and they can view it no matter what platform they use :-)

Now if I could just get the same program to run on the IIci directly that would be even better. Anyone know a .ps to pdf converter that can run under OS 7.1 (or even better OS 6) and a 68K machine?

Cheers,
              John
