Something that I found curious when looking for a 605 - Pictures of them were so dang rare, and quite a few people told me they were the same as normal LCIII's (the flat curved front), but they're a whole different thing. So since pictures tell a thousand words or something, on I go with some links.

For all the waffling I can do I guess a few pictures can't hurt anyone ;-)

http://www.danamania.com/gallery/beige/aaz is a few of my Q605s. curved in both directions with the style line all around the outside of the front to visually separate it, a flat smooth top except for the curved heat vents running side to side at the back. So far I've only seen Q605s looking like this

Comapre that tot he LC475 here (which incidentally is also a lovely big picture!):

http://www.allaboutapple.com/museo/pictures/donazioni/mac_lciii.jpg is how my LCIIIs look.

I have 2 LCIIIs and an LCIII+ like this...

http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-SanJose/7030/lc3.jpg is what the other half of my LCIIs look like. Almost the original LC look, just a little different with the groove along the front not reaching the edges like the original LC. I think I have 2 LCIIIs in this original style too.

...and one LCIII like this.

I haven't seen an LC475 with that look.

A friend of mine has one, as previously mentioned by Myself and Phil Marlow.

That's how they've looked in Australia. the grooved front on LC, LCII and LCIII, the flat curved front on LCII

Personally I've never sen an LCII in a new-style case! Photo please, I gotta add it to the archive. :-D

LCIII and 475 series, and the Q605 got the really different bulbous faced cute package that I adore - http://www.danamania.com/gallery/beige/aaf :)

Same here. I have 7 of them of various denominations, and one that is two cases bolted together.
