Captures NTSC in 640x480 at up to 150K per frame, if your hard drive system is up to it! The Media 100 will work in an 840AV, even with a Jackhammer card, but some of the rendering and effects operations will be quite a bit slower. I'm tempted to get an 840AV to drop another Media 100 in with a Jackhammer just to use for capturing the video. Editing, "printing" to tape and exporting to QuickTime don't stress the hard drives nearly as much. Just picked up a 10/100 NuBus network card, could also drop one of those in the 840AV for transferring the captured video instead of "sneakernetting" the 18gig external drive back and forth... Maybe later. :) ===== Say hello to Juror #49. Yep, I'm on jury duty until the end of March. Gotta call in each weekend. Fun. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
