I have three of those, two are in the 7100/80AV, one in the IIcx. You
will need the SuperMac Monitors Control Panel for them. Email me off list
and I'll send you the versions I have. The CP will tell you what card it is
when it is installed. I 'think' I found the CP's using Goggle.com but
can't remember.
The Thunder II is either 8-bit or 24-bit. It will work if you install it,
but you may need to hold the 'SpaceBar' down when you startup, to wake it
up. It's been a couple of years since last I had to do anything with mine.
