Hey folks- I just installed a Radius PrecisionColor 24XP NuBus video card into my Mac IIsi. I know the card works because I pulled it (working) out of a Quadra 800. However, the IIsi won't display through the video card. Is there something on the IIsi motherboard I have to do to disable the internal IIsi video or something to get a video card to work?
When I boot up, for a brief fraction of a second it will actually display a grey screen through the Radius card with the "Radius" logo and then disappear. I had to restart several times to even make out what it was that flashes on the screen so quickly. I can hear the system booting up normally, but the screen is black. If I plug the monitor back into the internal video port, and then restart, the system will display just fine throught that. What is the deal here? Is there a setting somewhere I need to set, either on the IIsi logic board, the video card board, or even the PDS to NuBus conversion board to make it display through the Radius? In case it matters, I am using the stock Macintosh IIsi monitor and running System 6.0.8.
