I found a note on the AppleWorks users group claiming they were using AW 6.2 on XP. It certainly sound like, from the few postings I looked at, that AW6 is available on an educational basis, but that AW5 works a lot better on Windows. All recommendations pointed to eBay.
For those of you unfamiliar with awug, its a great outfit for AW users, especially those just getting their feet wet. It costs, but you can get a lot more help than anywhere in the far more pricey Word world.

Isn't there a Windows version tucked in with the Mac
version? I was under the impression that both versions came with the boxed
version of AppleWorks 6.
I've seen an AppleWorks 5.0.3 CD-ROM with both versions. My ClarisWorks 5 CD only has the Windows version. I've looked at Staples and the AppleWorks 6 they have is Mac only.
Someone once told me that Apple only sells the Windows version of AW6 through their educational sales. (Given my prior rants about the various foot shooting off stupidities Apple has done in the past, I'm certain you already know my opinion of _this_ one...)
