7100/80 won't install OS 8.1 or 8.5

This is sad news for me.  This has come up before.  I had 3 7100/80s 
that would not take my disks, so I tore all of them up and put them 
in my junk wagon. So I found out later, from this list, that I should 
have booted off of an external and drop the system folder in. I 
could've done it, but ... what the hay, I have switched computers 3 
times since my 7100/66 was my main Internet computer. When the 
fastest download you can get is 26400, it makes little difference in 
download speed.

Me?  I am reading the 9/11 Commission Report. Heck of a lot easier 
than reading Clinton's book.
