I have been trying for the past few days to install A/UX 3.01 on one of my Mac IIci machines. It works great except it keeps getting read errors on what seems to be the CD drive (an apple 600i). I think this, because I have tried using different hard drives, and keep getting the same errors, which are Panic: No Root Filesystem and Disk read c101d0s6 Error: Medium Error, code = 0x11. I have tried re-burning the A/UX image, but to no avail. I even opened up the CD-ROM drive and cleaned the laser, but again, it did not work. Any thoughts? Is it a problem with the CD drive or could it be the SCSI controller?

Thanks,
Kyle
