I have an emac 1ghz and a mac LCIII to it's right that I got fr/a dumpster.
Everything runs on the LCIII, and I got an ethernet card for it hoping to send some software over to it via the emac and internet.
PROBLEM: Cannot get local talk, appletalk, to work.
The problem is I HAVE NO SOFTWARE for this cool old computer....and don't know how to get software on it...
Can somebody give me some hints or just point me in the right direction.
I tried hooking up the emac via/ethernet direct and nada....
Please help, Trent

It's tough to work with these old guys unless you're equipped with floppies or an external hard drive. Getting the software you need is as simple as setting the LC III up with a modem and connectivity stuff.
If you're only on DSL or Cable, then there are some folks whose coming emails will tell you what's needed to route the LC III through the eMac.
