So, I've been known to look around a bit when I take old computer equipment to the computer recycle center at the local waste disposal facility. Today I ended up taking in an old Pentium-133 PC and coming back with a Power Mac 7100/80 and a Quadra 650 (one of these days I'm going to get busted for "salvaging", but in the mean time...). I already had a Centris 650, but I've been eyeing for a Quadra for the extra mhz.

It's interesting what you can find on discarded computer equipment, but I wasn't expecting what I found on the Quadra. It booted to 7.3 - in Japanese. I'm thinking about keeping it that way for curiosity's sake.

Anyone else ever found something "unexpected" on used machines?

-Dylan
