At some point in the IIfx production, the SCSI issues were corrected completely. (Unlike the SCSI issues with NuBus Powermacs. Grrrr.) The IIfx I/O stuff was also used on the Quadra 900/950 and didn't have the SCSI problems but like the IIfx, did have troubles with some apps incompatable with the faster serial operation. That's why there's the Serial Switch control panel that's only for those three Macs. ===== It will be total Fandemonium, Summer 2005!
