Unfortunately, you may need the correct cable, as the standard adapters are not correct for some color pivots. Earlier models of the pivot used the Mac video plug and so directly connected to the radius cards and the built-in video on some Macs. At some point, Radius decided to enter the PC market, and instead of building separate versions of their monitors, they invented this special cable so the same pivot monitor could be used with both the PC and the Mac. I have an older monochrome pivot for the Mac that's a bit dim but works fine with both Radius pivot cards and built-in video on some Macs. When the radius software is loaded with a compatible OS, there's this cool pivot on-the-fly feature that makes a great demo. But monochrome is not very useful to me, so when a color pivot became available I grabbed it. Turns out it is the newer model with the PC connector, did not come with a Mac cable, and I've never found the cable and never got the monitor to work with anything. I tried to research the cable but never found enough details to build one.
