>(I already have my >SE/30's PDS slot filled with a network adapter, but I have another one >which >has the internal video ruined (a single vertical line appears on the >screen), and I'm a bit curious!)
On the Mac Pluses the video went wonky because the connector on the video board needed to be resoldiered (white 4 pin plastic plug, pins on the motherboard had to be reheated with a soldiering iron tip and that fixed the problem). Your SE/30 wouldn't be something simple to fix as that would it? Sorry if I'm wrong, haven't had to fix an SE/30 with that problem before. Re the cards, yes I'm pretty sure I've seen one of these in the past but had a funny feeling it was only 8 bit. Again could be wrong as my memory isn't what it used to be.
