Matt, My high school used LC's for our web browsers (back in 2001) and they worked fine. I was sitting at one back when I read the announcement on Apple.com about the "new" iMac. Some stores (Micro Center) may even still sell old "serial" compatable modems at 56k. I would recommend maxing out the memory (10 MB) and putting a 700 MB SCSI hard drive in the system with OS 6.0.8 or 7.5.1.
