In my local computer junkyard I found this SIMM in an antistatic bag, so I have no idea where it comes from.

It's a 64 pin simm with a notch in the middle. It has four, socketed, EPROM's which have stickers on the top. These read:

342-073*
C APPLE 1983-89
W8929

where the "*" is 3, 4, 5, or 6 for each EPROM.

Clearly "W8929" means week 29 of 1989.

On the web I found a reference to these ROM numbers that indicate they belong to a Mac IIci.

The PCB is marked "1MEG ROM SIMM AP1257-01"

Anybody any suggestions what could be done with this SIMM?

John
