It was just the other day that Ian sent in a link for a picture from the "Star Trek" movie which showed a compact Mac being examined by the character named Montgomery Scott, or "Scotty" for short. Today comes the sad news that James Doohan, who played Scotty in the original television series and the successful movies which followed, has passed away from complications of pneumonia and Alzheimers.
