If you want a more reliable one the best thing to do is find a platinum-colored Mac Plus and swap the board with the one in there. Later Pluses seemed more reliable--I've never seen one fail and I had to work with a ton of Pluses (both colors) in the early 1990s. In general it seems to be cheaper just to get another Mac to swap it with--plus you get other parts you can use.
Note that the 128K analog is interchangeable with the 512K, 512Ke, and Plus (both colors). You can also use a Mac ED but chances are slim you'd find one. For a source, I'd have to go with eBay.
