OK I now know that the Apple Design Speaker 'II' Powered speakers use a different 12VDC Power supply with a standard connector. I have also established that it is easy enough to pop the back off the speaker I have and change the PSU connector for a standard connector. What I still do not know is the Power Supply rating, if anyone has a set of ORIGINAL Apple Design Powered Speakers (not A.D. 'II' type) with a 15VDC Power Supply brick, can you send me a picture or scan off-list of the spec on the label? I have a possible donor PSU but it looks a bit weedy for the job to me.
