Ah, if Gmail won't work, is there another free POP3 email that works with
Eudora 1.5.5?

Gmail requires SSL (I think) so the incoming mail port (POP3) should be
995
instead of 110 (?). And the same happens to SMTP.
I had (a bit of) trouble configuring the account in - imagine - Outlook
2003!
Probably Eudora 1.5.5 won't work. :(
