Juan,

I am not responding to answer your question but for
antoher reason. I have been using a Mac IIci offline
since 1989 and a Mac 7300 on line since 2002. In the
IIci, recently I increased internal memory from 16MG
to 32GB with enormous increased throuput especially in
the background, having eliminated quite a few problems
due to memory shortage. It is my ambition to increase
form 32MB to 48MB and beyond all the way to 128MB to
see how that affects performance. I also have 8 spare
IIci CPUs laying around awaiting to be used as test
CPUs or just as spares.

If you don't mind, I would like to share performance
enhancement experiences working with this so-called
obsolete work horse (the IIci). To start, what would
you recommend to buy as an accelerator since they seem
to be so inexpensive (finally)?
