Doesn't seem practical to clearcoast a polished unit in view that
clearcoat will run about $100 a running foot of trailer and will probably
only last 10 years. Remember when you clear coast you still need to
treat your coat with Walbernizer once or twice a year if you want to
maintain it. Put some good auto polish sealer on your polished
airstream once a year will probably hold shine for a few years then
repolish with whatever you used for your final polish wh;en you think
necessary. If you do it yourself you save money. If you hire it done it
will probably cost about the same as getting a clearcoat.
