I too carry a cell phone... but I was startled to hear the Car Guys discussing
the terrible statistics on the dangers of using cell phones WHILE DRIVING: in
short, accidents are as common among drivers using cell phones as among drunks!
Further surprise: hands-off cell phones don't seem to be any safer!
So using them for emergencies is fine, but we should pull off the road if we
intend to chat while driving.
