[VAC] Higgens again

Awhile back there was a thread about Higgins trailers.  Yesterday I heard on 
the radio about a Higgins in Louisiana who built all the landing craft used 
to land on the beaches by the allies in WWII .  He was called the Noah of 
WWII by Hitler. Do you think he made trailers after the war? Seems to me the 
machinery used would be the same.
