No, I'm not trying to give you a bad time... but, what I was getting at
is colloquialism...
I look up, say, "Piano" on the net and someone in Tallahassee is
listing his/her qualifications for teaching piano. Trouble is they act
as if they're writing for only their local nickel newspaper, so they
often don't even list Talla... [however you spell it]. On the net, we
are writing for the whole country, to some extent the world.
Now I don't know how many Bismarks there are in the U.S. -- but "ND"
or Minn or OH -- whatever states feature Bismarks might be helpful. (I
just looked up "Bismark" on MSoft's "Streets Plus" and in the U.S. they
list:
BISMARK: Illinois, Kansas, North Dakota, Alabama, Arkansas, California,
Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, West Virginia.)
I must admit I've noted there is a rally in Bismark, MW (MidWest) --
but I was at a lake cottage computer with no old correspondence on it --
when I spied the glib "Bismark". Hey, I'm from Longview -- there's a
heck of a lot bigger one down the road in Texas, but my Longview happens
to be in WA!
