Jay, your 56, is really a 57. So as you said, move up. Ohio built , 0-7350. It should have 13 segments, front and rear, if it has 9 segments in the rear, it will be a first. 1956 Overlander 26 feet 0-7116 up 1957 Overlander 26 feet 0-7200 up 1958 Overlander 26 feet 0-7550 up Since it is now a 1957, the specs changed a little. It should weigh 3280 lbs dry, and sugg retail price new, went up to $4475. You can call it anything you like, and with what you are doing to yours, (major rebuild-remodel) it won't make much difference. Good Luck. Bill Scott 61 Bambi 66 Trade Wind
Mr Bill Scott, your recent posting of a chart of serial numbers with years certainly perplexed me until Tom Walden gave an explanation of years antedating their manufacture at times. My serial # is 07350 on an Overlander. I have not found any other id plate on the frame yet. I received this trailer as a "1956" and when I was taking the thing apart, I found a date on the back of the bathroom mirror that was "Dec 4 1956" so at least that accessory comes from that year. Could you provide any further analysis? I would conclude that for technical purposes, my trailer is a 56, but if the preponderance of the evidence shows otherwise, I could move up to 57. Jay L.
