Celia and Rick,

That 56 24 footer that you came to possess, does not fit the template.
What you have is ,..........I think a 1960 model, 24ft Tradewind. The
first Trade Wind models were made in "59". Your serial number,.....24D
0226 can be read as follows; 24 is length in feet, measured from
bumper to ball. D is to indicate a double bed, or a lounge that makes
into a double. The "0" is for 1960, and the 226 is the production
sequence number. If it was a 56, it would probably be 22 feet, a
single axle and it would have 13 segments. Your early Trade Wind,
should have a single axle, (solid axle, leaf springs) 7 segments front
and rear, and it might say "Trade Wind", above the ID plate. You might
find a wiring schematic behind one of the cabinets. There was no manual
made for 1960 models. Good Luck.
