I don't have a Univolt to test. My dad had no respect for it when he
restored the Caravel 8 years ago. He built one of my regulator circuits
I think. I've not dug down to see what he did but it gave decent battery
life, because he's still using the same battery for running him ham rig
three years since he's been able to drive.
