[a/s] Floors and Countertops

Hi all -

I'm getting into a "maybe it's time I did something about this" mood - and
am thinking of replacing the floor and countertop in my '63 Bambi. Has
anyone ever used tile on their countertop? Upside? Downside?

I'm looking at cork for the floor. It's seems like it would be both
lightweight and flexible. Jade Mountain has cork flooring for $4 a square
foot. Any comments? By the way, Jade Mountain also has true linoleum in both
sheets and tile.
