Hi Michael and Sam Ridden,
Give Airstreamer Rick Davis a shout
on email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
He's part of the Vintage Airstream Club
and is in the business of towing RVs for
manufacturers. Who knows, he might be
delivering in your area and could do
it conveniently. Others on the VAC have
used his services and were pleased. He
can also provide a mini-seminar on towing
if you'd like one. Sound good? Do it!

'67 22' Safari (three twins w/o vanity)
'77 31' Excella 500 (ctr dbl w/vanity)
'86 32' Excella (rear dbl with vanity)
PS - Changing rear twins to a double
bed is easy. Copy the construction
details from a twin bed when you make
up the platform for your double bed.
While at it, consider building in a
vanity with drawers along the other wall.
Make the vanity top the same height as
was the night stand between the twins.
If you want to be sophisticated, you
could include bed lifters so you have
direct access to the entire area below
the mattress. It can be very handy to
have a narrow storage place for long
items, i.e. flag poles, fishing poles,
etc, etc, etc.
