Far neater, that riveting idea, or wicking in a tiny drop of loctite. As
an extreme drill crosswise maybe 1/16" inch diameter and insert a tight
fitting aluminum pin anchored with loctite. File the ends flush. The
sheet metal screw seems a little gross.
