Don, your web address came up "not in service".  Would like to see it. Our 22 Safari, 1960 is at http://home.earthlink.net/~martinvthomas/aspics.htm
We replaced the bath wall (2 panels laminated together) since it was warped.  Unsed laminate on the dinette side and a tile pattern bath panel on the shower side.  Worked very well, in case you have to do the same.

Cecilia-
Welcome to VAC and the world of 59 Land yachts!.  Ours is a 22ft Safari in original condition except for toilet.  You can see it at our web site at http:members.home.net/dehole1/airstream/adventure.html.  This may give you some idea of what yours amy have looked like.  If you have any specific questions, please let me know and I'll see what I can do!.

We're the proud owners of a '59 24ft. LandYacht.  Does anyone have one?  How does it look inside?  It's quiet evident the whole floor needs replacing, how do we do that?  That seems to be the first item my husband the gen. contractor feels is important.  There's no frig.  The front, lacking a couch, has been painted 1/2 way down with many drips straggling down the walls.  Reading the airstream net, I found how to take off the paint - thanks, loads!  So many great ideas and suggestions!  You guys are so neighborly!  We've joined the NW group and the vintage group, next is the WBCCI group.  Cecelia in Oregon
