Hi Rick and Linda, Welcome to the land of vintage restorations and very few simple solutions. With the water leaks you mentioned and the potential complexities of gaining access to them, I looked at my calendar and counted the number of weekends between now and the first freeze in the northeast. If you do the same for your location, it may surprise you how little time you have left. If you don't get them fixed before freeze-up, you might want to use the old air pressure technique to winterize. It's most helpful to have a very large volume of pressurized air at your disposal so the water is expelled everywhere in the system - IN SPITE OF fractured lines and the resulting drop in pressure of air going past the fractures into the remaining lines.
