Ah, HA, Peggy, ..............no fair. You have much more room in that Bambi II, since it is 17feet and configured differently than a Bambi. The Bambi II, at 17 feet, and slightly wider, is the forerunner of the Caravel. The 1965 17ft Caravel is just a warmed over 1964 Bambi II. An original Bambi, 1961,62, 63, can be quite adequate for two people and 3 dogs, if the dogs are small, or, if they sleep outside. My husband and I have solved the problem of space in our Bambi. We DON'T pull the beds out. He's tall, I'm short, he sleeps on the street side bunk and I sleep in the bunk in the bow!
