Ken Jones, et al....

Thanks Ken for the tip on Wofburg West....I'll give them a call and find out
if the German bushings are still available. I thought (apparently
incorrectly) that WCM carried better stuff than that. They apparently buy
rubber parts in bulk and then repackage it with no indication as to whether
they are made by WCM or country of origin.

More notes:

The spring plate is rusted to the torsion bar. Not enough grease was applied
at the factory to waterproof the outside end and moisture has done its work.
The end cap on the spring plate is not a water tight seal. I drilled a hole
in the end cap and popped it from the spring plate; no grease and a fair
amount of rust (and this is a southern car....never exposed to snow). It's
been soaking in PB Blaster overnight. No amount of banging on it with a
small sledge and brass drift yesterday budged it at all. Even tried a little
heat around the end area where the splines are...no luck so far. Will try to
have it pressed out of the spring arm if the Blaster won't free it up.

Comments welcome...thanks for listening.
