Listees, I need a good, honest auto shop in the Crestview, FL area. My daughter lives there and her husband (military) is out of town. She just got tires on her 98 isuzu Rodeo and the service guy said she needs a new front and rear brake job to the tune of $700.
I'm not sure if he's blowing smoke or whether she does need new rotors, drum, pads and calipers. Can anyone tel me a good shop in her area where I can call and talk to them and have her take it in to get checked out. I could do the work if she were here and she's coming to Alabama this weekend. She sent me pics of the rotors and I don't see evidence that the pad rivets are touching the rotors but she can't tell how much pad thickness she has left. Any way, if snyone knows of a good honest place near crestview, please email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I may call the place first and talk to the owner and then have her take it in fdr an inspection.
