This is a mount for a Beetle foglight, it's not Hella though but Bosch.

I think I've posted this one before, but it's worth another shot.
I want to mount a couple of '69 vintage Hella rectangular chrome foglights
beneath the front bumper on my Polizeikäfer. In Germany, front foglights
(and a rear fog taillight) were even M-options that you could check off on
your order sheet for a new car. There was a foglight bracket that mounted
against the front bumper brackets to hold the foglights (no drilling of
bumpers that way). I've written both to the VW factory and to Hella in
Lippstadt: yes, they recall the setup and no, they're no longer available.
No surprise there. I suspect there were also good aftermarket brackets
available back then, too. I need something.
Does anybody have a set of '68-'70 vintage front Hella foglights on a Type 1
with stock bumpers? Can somebody make me a sketch of what they look like
(outlines, gauge of steel, etc.) so I can make some decent facsimiles? Or
does anybody have a good clean design for front foglight brackets?
