Volks, The fish-gray pebble-grained vinyl that lines the rear luggage space in my '70 beetle is in pretty bad shape -- and part of it is unusable. It's that square-pattern bumpy vinyl with canvas backing and gray fabric binding that covers the fender wells, rear firewall, and the backside of the rear seat back.
Has anybody found a source for a pretty faithful reproduction of that stuff? I've made the rounds of local auto upholstery shops. They all seem to use the same catalogs -- and all draw the same blank. I've sent pieces to a couple of German upholstery shops (Möhn, Schomakerer) but no responses yet.
