I should have thought about posting them to a website before.  The

I am friends with the owner of an early Porsche restoration shop called 
Porstoration.  He somehow acquired these guards and gave them to me.  I 
am thinking about using them on my 63 sunroof, but I wanted to learn a 
little more about the guards.
