I thought you all might enjoy seeing this. On June 6th, after my girlfriend Enid from Australia had visited me for a month, we loaded up my 1974 Super and drove from Beatrice, NE to Omaha. I put the video up on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXsi1AVaiVI and it answers the question once and for all that you can put 2 adult men, one adult lady, and her luggage in a beetle and get them all to where you need to go. Video is complete with pictures of all 3 of us, the luggage, my deaf father in his VW hat, and the howling of the roof rack to boot.
