I had known Don for about ten years and conversed with him regularly on the
list and via ICQ. He came up and visited me once here in Vancouver to check
out a Porsche 356 replica that he was having built for him. He checked out
Sharkey (she just got her engine at that time) and then invited me to tag
along with him into neighbouring Surrey to see the Porsche. We stayed in
contact over the years, sending the odd gift back and forth. Always got a
Christmas card from him and Amy each year as well. He told me that if I
ever found myself down in Oceanside (or later in Port Neches, TX) that the
guest bedroom would be available. He was truly one of a kind, and he will
be missed.

Gang,
Just wanted to pass this along (below). If any of you remember Don
Boneau, he was on the list some years ago. I don't think he was very
active in posting, but he was pretty active in going to events on SoCal.
He lived in Oceanside, CA, in northern San Diego County.

I've remained in contact with him all these years, even after he moved
with his wife down to Texas. He was a great guy. He sent me so much
email humor... There will be a noticeable empty space in my inbox.

I'm not sure if his wife will be checking his account again, but if anyone
would like to send a note to her, the address of his that she used to
send this out was [EMAIL PROTECTED]
