I am interesting in the later model of VW Bus and have found few of them in the
market here in Thailand.
I am wonder what are differences between '72 1.6 li model and '77 2.0 li model
of Bus (both with a/c). From the outside look, I can only see the difference
in front turn signal lens where the older ones have lens below the main
headlamps near the bumper while the later ones have signal lens above the
headlamps closer to the windshield.
What I am looking is an "easier" and "manageable" car at 100-120 Km/hr,
especially with the steering system. Also, I don't know whether the 1.6 li
and 2.0 li engines make much differences in terms of performance / economy. I
plan to have few people with few golf bags, that would add around 300-400 kg at
the back of the bus.
