It isn't really that difficult, unless you lack pictures.  The swaybar is
attached to the lower trailing arms, each with two bushings/clamps.  The
bushings have a hole in the middle designed to accept the swaybar, and a
concave contour on one end designed to rest against the trailing arm.  A
flat steel U-shaped clamp wraps around each bushing but the ends don't
overlap.  Instead, they are designed to accept a tapered steel clip.

Installation requires that you pinch the ends of the clamp together using a
pair of slip-joint pliers while you slide the clip over the clamp ends.  The
clamps should be installed so that you have to slide the clips *towards* the
torsion leaves to install them.  Getting them off usually requires a hammer
& punch approach to drift the clips off of the clamp ends (ie: towards the
steering knuckles), after first gently prying up a locking lug at one end of
the clip.

How do you detach the front sway bar on a Ghia?  The instructions  (lol) say

to
"simply" slip off the clips...  what am i missing here?
