Volks,

My '70 beetle had an inline fuse in the black wire running from the #15 pole
of the coil to the tranny switch for the backup lights. It was fastened in
place by an L-shaped metal bracket, 4" or so, screwed to the fan housing
behind the coil. The fuse holder itself is black Bakelite, with .250 AMP
Faston quick-disconnect connectors inside each end. It has the VW logo and
a "P&C" trademark, plus the German DGMP design patent number. Sadly, mine
has been broken and can no longer close properly.

(a) I need a new bracket for this fuse holder. I've seen them, but don't
have one. Can anyone help?

(b) I could use a new inline fuse holder. Can't find one in any catalog
(they all seem to have American-made Buss or other fuse holders.) Anybody
have one they'd like to part with?
